Vance's Music Memoirs

I used to watch TV and dream of being one of the kids on Sesame Street. I can hear Oscar singing “I love trash. Anything dirty or dingy or dusty. Anything, ragged or rotten or rusty. Yes, I love trash.” I would sing along and imagine I was was hanging out in the neighborhood with Oscar, Cookie Monster and the gang. Lance was one of the kids – why not Vance! Remember Big Bird’s alphabet song? Don’t get me started!

Maybe the songs weren’t really so silly … Sesame Street DID get me started!
