This wise quote from author Henry David Thoreau, came to me by way of music artist, performer Micky Dolenz and seems the perfect opening for my hesitant venture into this cyberspace world where I am completely UNprepared! Believe it or not, I'm glad that, with a little help from my friends and a few of Santa's elves, luck won out! Regardless of what was back THEN (before I gave in to the www) ... I'm definitely here NOW!

The Preparation
I've spent a lifetime preparing for whatever musical opportunities might come my way. Preparation is a never ending process - often with unexpected results. One never knows what's around the next musical corner ... and I'll be turning another corner soon with my 2009 country release!

The Opportunity
When I was a young lad, I often told guys around me, "If you’re not going to do the work, if you DO get an opportunity,  you’re not going to be ready for it!" I may not be quite ready for the technical aspects of being online, but I'm ready for this opportunity to share the experience of music past and present.
